HONORING HIS SERVICE

Today we honor Sergeant First Class William Sheldon White, United States Army.

On February 8, 1951, SFC White was killed in action during the Korean War.

The winter of 1951 was one of the harshest and most punishing periods of that war, marked by brutal conditions and relentless combat. In that frozen landscape, American Soldiers held the line, moved forward when ordered, and carried their brothers through danger that most of us can only imagine.

SFC White gave his life in that fight.

IN THEIR FOOTSTEPS

The Korean War is often called “The Forgotten War,” but we do not forget the men who served and sacrificed.

Today we speak his name clearly:
SFC William Sheldon White.
